Day 01:               Mumbai – Moscow (Russia)

Assemble at Sahara international airport to board flight for Moscow. Arrive Moscow & check in at Hotel. Evening enjoy Russian circus. Overnight at Moscow.

Day 02:               Moscow

After breakfast proceed to a half day city tour of Moscow covering such famous highlights as St. Basils domed cathedral, the Kremlin walls, red square and Lenin’s tomb. Afternoon we proceed for tour of the Russian Metro. One will appreciate as we proceed on a short metro tour. Overnight at Moscow.

Day 03:               Moscow – St. Petersburg (Russia)

After breakfast proceed to airport to board flight for St. Petersburg. Arrive & check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit the world famous hermitage museum Overnight at St Petersburg.

Day 04:               St. Petersburg

After breakfast proceed for a city tour which includes St. Isaac’s cathedral the Peter & Paul fortress and statue of peter the great. Evening historical walking tour on Nevesky prospects. Overnight at St Petersburg.

Day 05:               St. Petersburg – Helsinki (Finland) (369 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Helsinki, a journey of Apprx 6 hrs. And check in at Hotel. Thereafter proceed on a sightseeing orientation tour visiting the Senaatintori square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple and much more. The Finlandia building is made by the famous architect Alvar Aalto. The Temppeliaukion Church, built in the rock is today one of the city’s main attractions, Sibelius monument. Overnight at Helsinki.

Day 06:               Helsinki – Rovanamie – Ivalo (Finland)

After breakfast proceed to airport to board flight for Rovanamie which is the first city on the border of Arctic Circle, visit the world famous Santa Park and Arctikum museum. Later drive to Ivalo, Ivalo is situated in northern Finland above the Arctic Circle. We get the feel of Europe’s last wilderness on our visit to the national park near tankavaara; you will also see a number of wild reindeers on your way. Arrive and check in at hotel. Midnight proceed to see the midnight sun with its glorious colors (weather always plays an important role to see midnight sun so we have options to see at Ivalo as well as at Honningsvag). Overnight at Ivalo.

Day 07:               Ivalo – Honningsvag (Norway) (359 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Honningsvag (journey of 5 ½ hrs). We are coming closer to the extreme edge of Norway and indeed northern most point of Europe (North Cape). We drive along the Porsangerfjord to Kafjord and from here the longest auto tunnel in the arctic to the North Cape Island, mageroya. We arrive Honningsvag and check in at hotel. At 2300 hours you will be driving up the hill to reach the extreme edge of the earth- North Cape. This is the place to see the mid night sun at mid night with its glorious colors. Overnight at Honningsvag.

Day 08:               Honningsvag – Ellovallo – Tromso (Norway) (504 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Ellovallo lake district, this is the only lake district in the world located within the Arctic Circle, size of the lakes are so large that unknown visitor feels it like an ocean, here on one side is the snow covered mountains and other side of the road are countless numbers of lakes, this is one of the most scenic drive in the entire world. After this glorious drive we arrive at Tromso (journey of 8 hrs). Check in at hotel. Overnight at Tromso.

Day 09:               Tromso (Norway)

After breakfast we proceed on a city tour of Tromso. The city center of Tromso contains the highest number of old wooden houses in north Norway, the oldest house dating from 1789. The arctic cathedral, a modern church from 1965, is probably the most famous landmark in Tromso. The city is a cultural center for its region, several festivals taking place in the summer. Later time free for rest & leisure activities. Return back in the evening back to hotel. Overnight at Tromso.

Day 10:               Tromso – Bergen (Norway)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Tromso airport and board flight for Bergen. Arrive Bergen and proceed to check in at hotel. Bergen is one of the most beautiful cities of Norway nestled between seven mountains. Arrive and proceed on a city tour and see Haakon’s hall, built in the 13th century and faithfully restored. Then we take a train to the top of Bergen from where we can have a magnificent view of the city and fountains. Later proceed to Voss and check in at hotel. Overnight at Bergen.

Day 11:               Bergen – Flam (Norway) (169 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Flam (2 hrs journey) enjoying the breathtaking view of the fjords and passing through the 11 kms long tunnel. Arrive after a journey of Apprx 3 hrs. Check in at hotel. Proceed to board Flamsbana train, which will take us to the altitude of 4000 feet, en route witnessing one of the largest water falls of Norway. We alight at the station where 3 girls would welcome us, dancing in the traditional way. The to and fro train journey, alongside the river would be of 2 hrs. Taking us through 24 tunnels. Overnight at Flam.

Day 12:               Flam – Geiranger (Norway) (283 Kms)

After breakfast we proceed to Geiranger, a journey of 7 hrs (one of the most famous fjord in Norway). This town is internationally renowned for its distinctive art nouveau architecture. Check in at hotel. Day free to enjoy the charm and beauty of this great site. Overnight at Geiranger.

After breakfast day free for rest and leisure activities. Overnight at Geiranger.

Day 14:               Geiranger – Lillehammer (Norway) (392 Kms)

After breakfast we check out from the hotel and proceed towards Lillehammer (Approx. 6 hours drive). Lillehammer is the commercial, administrative, culture and educational center of the region. The city and the surrounding area is a popular tourist destination with more than 800,000 visitors every year. Lillehammer became world famous for the Olympic Winter Games in 1994. We arrive Lillehammer and check in at Hotel. Overnight at Lillehammer.

 

Day 15:               Lillehammer – Oslo (187 Kms)

After breakfast proceed to Oslo (a journey of 3 hrs). Arrive Oslo, the capital of Norway, beautifully located at the end of Oslo fjord and surrounded by extensive green forests. Arrive and check in at hotel. Overnight at Oslo.

Day 16:               Oslo Region (Norway)

After breakfast proceed on sightseeing tour which includes Frogner Park and view the controversial Vigeland sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland. Thereafter we visit the Akersus castle located in a village of Norway with a 200 years old set up and houses.  We then proceed to visit royal palace where the royal family stays and winter Olympic site. We can only visit certain areas as the rest is restricted for visit. Overnight at Oslo.

Day 17:               Oslo – Stockholm (Sweden) (524 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Stockholm. Arrive after a drive of 8 hrs. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Stockholm.

Day 18:               Stockholm

After breakfast proceed for city tour passing through old town, a fascinating medieval area. We pass through the elegant royal palace; you can also see the famous change of guards. Stroget (Great Square), the hub of the old town, and the stock exchange, now home of Swedish army. The old town streets are lined with smart boutiques, art galleries and antique shops. You have a free day for river side walking or to visit biggest shopping center of Scandinavia. Overnight at Stockholm.

Day 19:               Stockholm – Mumbai

After breakfast proceed to airport to board fight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai international airport.
